About Amber Oaks Ranch

Amber Oaks Ranch is a 70-acre regenerative farm raising pasture-fed beef, pork, chicken, and lamb the way nature intended — for our family, our community, and the land we steward. Amber Oaks Ranch is a 70-acre homestead just south of Thorndale, TX — about 35 miles east-northeast of Austin. It was established in December 2015 by John & Molly Pantalone after over a decade of dedicated homesteading outside of Houston. The cornerstone of Amber Oaks Ranch is a pastured meat-based operation. We raise beef, pork, and poultry on pasture — the way it should be. Every animal is rotationally grazed on chemical-free pasture, moved to fresh ground so they can live naturally and thrive. Raised on Open Pasture, the Way Nature Intended Our rotational grazing system builds soil health, promotes biodiversity, and produces nutrient-dense food. Every animal is moved to fresh, chemical-free pasture daily. Our cattle, pigs, chickens, and lambs live the way nature intended — on open pasture with sunshine, shade, and room to forage. No hormones, no preventative antibiotics. We established Amber Oaks Ranch to help people reclaim their freedom through independent living and establish wellbeing through healthy nutrition — for our family and yours. Howdy! We’re John and Molly — high school sweethearts from Georgetown, TX who turned a shared passion for homesteading into a family ranch built on regenerative principles. Our Red Wattle Pigs — Foraging Freely on Texas Land John and Molly began homesteading outside of Houston, learning regenerative agricultural practices hands-on and building the skills that would shape their future ranch. With over a decade of homesteading experience, John and Molly purchased 70 acres in Thrall, Texas and established Amber Oaks Ranch — a pastured meat operation built on regenerative principles. First cattle, pigs, and chickens arrived on the ranch. The rotational grazing system was developed and refined, moving animals to fresh pasture daily to build soil health and produce the highest quality meat. Amber Oaks expanded to multiple Central Texas farmers markets, launched the Buyers Club subscription, and built a loyal community of families who know exactly where their food comes from. Shop our full selection of pasture-raised meats, join the Buyers Club for monthly boxes, or come meet us at a farmers market near you.
