The Bates Family We are a 1st generation family farm located in Kalamazoo currently producing pasture raised Chicken and Goat. Our chickens are raised in mobile range coops or chicken tractors and are moved to a fresh patch of ground every day. This gives them access to fresh bugs, clover & grass; everything a chicken wants to eat naturally. We believe in keeping food local so we source everything we can from within 50 miles of the farm including our baby chicks and our Non-GMO grain.
