About Us Buy Local Gallery Farmstand What We Sell What We Grow Colby Farm is an ideal place to shop if you want very fresh and deliciously ripe, locally grown produce. The 200 acres surrounding the farmstand are hayfields, as the soil is mostly clay, but we farm about 20 acres of our nearby land (if you're trying to visualize, that's about the size of 18 football fields side-by-side) for vegetables and herbs. At harvest time, those twenty acres yield a big array of beautiful, healthy produce that we promise will taste better than what you'll find at the area supermarkets and warehouse stores in season. You can buy much more than just vegetables and flowers at our farmstand. We offer a big variety of locally source goods. In 2012, we built a new farmstand near the very little rustic, side-of-the-road farmstand we've had for the last 20 or so years. We might have more leg room, and extra shelf space to offer you the ability to stop in and buy everything you'd need to make breakfast, lunch, dinner and desert for the day, but Colby Farm is the same honest, friendly, family run business it's been since 1960. Since the Colby Farm is only a few minutes from Route 95, Route 1 and 1A, it's easy to get to. So, next time you're in the neighborhood, pull on in to the farm store. You'll find lots of useful information on our website, but don't hesitate to ask us questions about anything we sell. When you spend 16 hours a day farming you learn a thing or two about food.
