The Florence Mill Farmers Market is Omaha's only market situated outside and inside a historic agricultural-site, with an adjoining field too. Besides fresh, local produce and crafts, it is a perfect location for a family-friendly, fun, country-market. Each Sunday: Live music and "Country-School" educational presenters. First Sundays: Pony Rides, Giant Bubbles, Miss Joan Craft-Table, "Ring of Flutes." Second and Third Sundays: Old-fashioned Bluegrass circle-jam. Join the fun, bring your instrument! Fourth Sundays: Omaha Dulcimer Club The Florence Mill connects Agriculture, History and Art. It has been transformed from an obsolete mill & grain elevator into a heritage-tourism landmark with a museum and an art gallery. The farmers market brings agriculture back to the old mill in a lively way. It is a welcoming place for the community to gather, just llike mills of yore! Besides fresh,locally grown produce, handmade crafts and live music, weekly guests will present educational topics related to farming, gardening, cooking or nature: from presentations on raising sheep or rabbits to growing herbs or saving raptors.Outdoorsy things that only a market with a meadow can do. The Florence Mill Farmers Market starts the first Sunday in June and runs every Sunday through the end of September. The Market's sleep-in-Sunday hours are from 10am to 3pm. The Mill Museum and ArtLoft are open Wed-Saturday 1-5 PM Sundays from 10-3 PM. Vendor tables and tents are bot
