Gnome Hollow Farms This first generation Farm/Agritourism destination is owned by John Dixon, who is a 100% Disabled Army Veteran. John grew up in New Bern, NC and moved to Greeneville in 2018 to retire. Then chicken and goat math happened in 2019. Just in time for Covid. He created the Egg stand in the driveway to help feed folks with no contact during the roughest part of the epidemic. Then once he started building the farm into an agritourism destination, he moved the Egg Stand down to the farm area so it?s easier for you to buy eggs any time of day. The farm has ducks, goats, chickens, guineas, turkeys and geese. Eggs are incubated that are laid by the various birds throughout the year. 2024 is the 2nd year being open and you can take a tour of the farm, feed the animals, browse the Giddy Goat Gift Shoppe and buy items from him and other local artisans. Throw a great farm related Birthday/Anniversary/Any Reason Party by renting the spacious Hen Haven Gathering Hall event room and/or Pyrenees Pavilion. The farm also has a Signature Camp/Glamping Tent Site on the property that looks over to a jaw dropping view of the mountain range and can be rented through Airbnb, HipCamp and The Dyrt. You can also buy pasture raised chicken, duck, goose, turkey and guinea eggs at their roadside Egg Stand when in season. In June 2025, John opened up Gnome Hollow Drive-In on Saturday nights.
