We are a vibrant Co-op that features seasonal, sustainable foods and art from more than 300 local producers. We connect the community with environmentally and socially responsible businesses locally, regionally, and globally. You can help make a difference. Local Roots is a cooperative comprised of passionate citizens, just like YOU, who support local growers, makers, and creators. If you haven’t already, join us with a $50 annual membership. We feature over 200 Ohio small businesses. Local Roots is a place where you can come to meet the farmers, chefs, and artisans, get to know them and learn directly from them about the products you buy. Our chefs use fresh & local ingredients to serve up the best lunch, breakfast & brunch! Each weekday, a different chef shares their unique menu for lunch. All dishes are made from scratch in our kitchen and include some international flavors you can’t find elsewhere in Wooster.

Helping small businesses grow. The Local Roots business model was developed with the help of small farmers. A year-round market where producers do not have to be on-site allows farmers to stay in their fields and gardens and expand production. Become a Local Roots member and be a part of the solution.
