Lopez Island Farmers
We are a Washington State Family Farm and Nursery. We sell scionwood, cuttings, plants, produce, and artwork. You can see our products online and see us in person here at the Lopez Island Farmer's Market in Washington State. Dingdong is my lovely wife of 22 years. Her name comes from when her father heard the midnight church bells the night of her birth. After we were married and as we moved from place to place, I loved watching people go from being hesitant about saying her name to yelling “Hi Dingdong!” from across the room. When it came to finding a name for our new farm, Dingdong’s Garden was the obvious choice. Mark's Garden just didn't have the right ring to it. Since moving to the San Juan Islands four years ago, Dingdong, our daughter Sophie, and I have enjoyed learning to grow, cook, and preserve our own food. Even more rewarding for us has been sharing our abundance with family, friends, and neighbors. Having a farm and nursery allows us to build on that. Affordability is a priority for us. We are always looking for ways to lower costs. For example, our fresh garlic is clean but still has roots and stalk attached to reduce labor and lower the cost to you. Also, we offer uniformly low-priced cuttings that you can grow into a tree at a fraction of the price of buying a full tree at a nursery. We may not be able to beat inflation, but we can work with you trying to find ways around it.Thank you for joining us!Mark, Dingdong, and Sophie I'm always looking for new and exciting opportunities.
