Our Story
The Merk family has been farming this soil for over 120 years, with Phillip Merk returning to farm fulltime in 2003. They have evolved from cotton fields to raising world-class beef and are now expanding into agritourism, starting with a flower and forage maze and pumpkin patch in 2023. Ali Merk, Phillip's wife, is fulfilling a lifelong dream of growing strawberries, continuing her grandparents' legacy.
