Diversified Family Farm
Mud Creek Farm CSA is a local CSA farm in Victor, New York.
Mud Creek Farm was founded in 2009 by Erin Bullock with 80 members. In 2013, Farmer Ruth worked as Erin's assistant manager and later bought the business. She moved the farm to its current location on Cherry Street, transforming the land and continuously improving it each year. The farm has been feeding its local community for 16 years and is committed to the CSA model, connecting members with their food, land, and farmers. They endorse the CSA Charter and take the NOFA Farmer's Pledge for organic practices and sustainable farming for farmworkers. They are proud to have been feeding their local community for 16 years and are currently accepting applications for the 2026 farm season, offering opportunities to learn about various aspects of farming, including seedling propagation, transplanting, field management, harvesting, and CSA distribution. They are also open to incubating side projects for experienced individuals, such as raising pigs, Thanksgiving turkeys, and broiler chickens. The farm offers full and half shares with a sliding scale membership fee, and SNAP payment options are being developed. Members can pick up their shares at the farm on Cherry Street in Victor or at Abundance Coop in Rochester through Peacework, a member-run collective. All members receive a free subscription to an online recipe database and access to a Pick-Your-Own section any day of the week. The farm's fields have distinct personalities, like "Pumpkin Field," "Long North," and "Bowl," and the harvesting process is described as a small miracle. They also have photo galleries showcasing their fields, harvests, and distribution. The farm is located at 6880 Cherry Street, Victor, and can be contacted via email or phone. Farmer Ruth grew up on a flower farm in Vermont, traveled and worked on organic farms in New Zealand, and gained experience at Peacework Farm CSA before founding Mud Creek Farm.
