We began growing high quality produce in 1992. In 1997, we moved to land previously owned by Greg’s grandfather near York, NE. It is here on some of the most productive land in the state that we grow a wide variety of produce to supply our CSA program, roadside stands, farmers markets, local grocery stores, schools, and restaurants. CSA stand for Community Supported Agriculture. It’s like a partnership between you and your farmer. When you join a CSA, you buy a “farm share” for the season in return for a weekly delivery of fresh fruits and vegetables for a set price. From seed selection to sale, sweet corn is treated like royalty. We grow sugar enhanced and synergistic varieties for a sweetness you can taste in the field! By growing shorter, early varieties under bio-degradable plastic, you can serve up sweetcorn nearly two full weeks earlier than conventionally grown sweet corn. The ears are rapidly cooled after harvest to slow the natural conversion of sugars to starches and when it’s time for sale, we cover it in 60-75 pounds of ice. All to maintain the highest quality for you! Need to stock up on some farm-fresh produce? Stop by one of our roadside stands or farmers’ market locations!

Unheated tunnels protect a majority of the plants we grow from the elements; we currently have six tunnels like the one pictured. All of our plants are grown in the soil, no hydroponics, so they have the flavor you know and love. See our day to day operations on our Facebookpage! You receive the highest quality vegetables or fruits possible because we put everything into refrigeration, appropriate for each crop, as soon as possible after harvest. Quality control begins with seed selection and continues right up to the point of sale! So look us up and bring a friend, we look forward to serving you! Learn about how we grow sweet cornhere!
