Shady Lane Farms' animals have Fresh Air, Sunshine, Pasture and Deep Clean Bedding making them happier, healthier and more delicious. You'll be able to taste the difference. We believe that people's health is connected to the health of the soil, plants and animals that we eat, so we use natural, antibiotic- and hormone-free methods to raise our livestock. We also believe our animals have a right to a comfortable healthy life where they can express their true nature. Our chicken are pasture-raised. Daily they are moved to clean grazing area and allowed to range free in the Sunshine and Fresh Air. They are free of antibiotics and get to scratch in the dirt and eat grass and bugs. Because of the way they are raised their meat has a great taste and texture. Once you try them you won't go back to the Confinement chicken you get in the store. Pork: You will love the taste and texture of our Non-Confinement Pork! Our pigs have access to Fresh Air and Sunshine. In the summer they are rotated between pasture areas and wooded areas. In the winter they are housed in open-air buildings with deep clean bedding they can root around in. They are fed a natural diet and are free of antibiotics and hormones.
