We provide nutrient-dense, pasture-raised pork, chicken, eggs, turkey, grass-fed beef, flowers and vegetables. Stoney Acres is proudly owned by Kevin and Lu Ann Weaver. Our focus is on chemical-free, non-GMO products. When we first began to farm over ten years ago, our goal was to have access to healthy food, without any of the chemicals, GMO ingredients, or other things found in store-bought food that don't necessarily support wellness. Back then, we started small, with a vegetable garden for our family. From there, we grew, and eventually started selling at the Canandaigua Farmer's Market. It was a dream to be able to offer healthy food to the local community. As we continued to expand, we began selling at the Syracuse Farmer's Market and offering pick-up locations in Victor and beyond. We eventually brought on employees, and increased the amount of vegetables, herbs, eggs, flowers and meat we could produce. Throughout this process, we held tight to our initial purpose - to grow and offer food that is healthy for us and the community. We never use antibiotics, hormones, or vaccines on any of our animals. Our animals are always pasture-raised where they can forage naturally and given non-GMO grain or food. Our cattle are 100% grass-fed and finished. All of our animals get to experience life outside in the sunshine, rotating to fresh pasture and thriving. Our vegetables are chemical-free, without any harmful pesticides. We put a lot of care and effort into nourishing the soil on our land. With each year, we see it improve. The soil health is the bedrock that creates the nutrient-rich food we provide. Kevin, Lu Ann and Jessica Weaver(and Zoe) Our process heals the land and attracts an abundance of wildlife and pollinators which helps to promote healthy crops. We use compost & organic fertilizer in place of synthetic & chemical pesticides or fertilizers. We use a no-till method that uses tarps & composts to control weeds. We design, plant, & rotate crops that use & attract beneficial insects, bees, & flowers. We'd love to have you stop by and see our beautiful farm.
