Tampa Steak Company was founded in 1970 by Mr. Humberto Gonzalez, Sr. As an immigrant from Cuba, Mr. Gonzalez had a devotion to a prosperous life in America and an extremely strong work ethic. The original location was a small wholesale and retail meat market in downtown Tampa. By selling high-quality fresh products, Tampa Steak customers were always satisfied.The business grew and soon moved to the present location in west Tampa, near the Hillsborough river. By serving both the wholesale and the retail markets, Tampa Steak has a better selection of fresh products. Combining our knowledge and experience with different meats and cheeses, Tampa Steak customers always find exactly what they are looking for.
