About The Perennial Homestead Farm Stand

We're so glad you're here Greetings from our homestead to yours We’re Ali and Scott Yahnke, owners of The Perennial Homestead, along with our kids, Marlo and Violet, and, of course, there’s Mr. Nilsson, our cat, who loves to welcome everyone who visits our homestead and Uni, the cat, who’s probably off chasing mice in the barn. Our homestead is nestled amongst the rolling hills and ancient oaks of northeastern Omaha, Nebraska. Here, we tend our gardens, craft seasonal goods from our harvests, and watch our children grow and learn alongside us. It is truly a privilege to support our family from this work - to the land, our customers, and our supportive community, we are grateful. Sitting at the end of our driveway, our honor-system farm stand features a seasonal rotation of goods; from black walnut syrup and garden plants in the spring to heirloom tomatoes, garlic, and winter squash as the months go by. Our season ends with our famous caramels - a family tradition we’ve carried on since 2009. Our online shop is an extension of our farm stand and is curated with high-quality goods featuring ingredients and materials sourced directly from farmers and artisans. We believe that simple things can bring warmth into your home and joy to your days. We hope you feel the love that has gone into making each item. Our famous sea salt caramels have been the backbone of our business and continue to make a seasonal appearance in the winter months. In October 2020, we updated our brand to The Perennial Homestead, saying farewell to our “Snowshoe” beginnings and welcoming the possibility of pursuing our dreams of sharing our homestead lifestyle and the abundance that comes with it.
