The Rossotti’s story begins in the mountains of Switzerland, well over a hundred years ago. After immigrating to the United States in 1892, Julie and Tony Rossotti’s great great grandfathers worked side-by-side to establish the ranching community of west Marin. Today, Julie and Tony continue the ranching traditions of a combined nine generations to produce some of the most humane and sustainable pasture raised veal, grass fed goat, as well as duck and chicken, available in the United States. Devoted to wholesome, genuine, and truly sustainable ranching operations, the Rossottis value transparency in their production of pastured veal from birth, to pasture, to plate. Their diversified ranch has a deep commitment to sustainability and land management, with the health of the land directly linking to the health of the animals and quality of the meat. The pasture-to-plate focus of this entirely family owned and operated ranch is the result of Julie and Tony Rossotti’s lifelong passion for their families’ heritage of producing food for their community and their love for livestock and the environment around them. Julie, a fourth generation rancher who was raised on her parent’s historic H Ranch in Point Reyes, has owned a herd of both registered and commercial beef cattle for over twenty years. In 2007, Julie and Tony, a fifth generation west Marin rancher, were married, and the Rossottis diversified into the production of African Boer meat goats. After sharing a ranch with family members for a few years, Julie and Tony purchased their first ranch in Petaluma in 2009. Currently, Rossotti beef cattle for veal production and grass fed goats are located on both ranches –both historic H Ranch in Point Reyes and the Rossotti Ranch in Petaluma. The Rossotti poultry operation is exclusively in Petaluma, and rotates between chicken and ducks seasonally. Rossotti Ranch’s mission is simple: To produce humane, sustainable, and healthy food for both the local community as well as the greater United States, just as their families have for a combined nine generations! Farmers Market day is here and the weather looks to be finally perfect! (Warm but not scorching!) This is the perfect opportunity to support your local foodshed and stock up on all of the spring produce, pasture raised meats, artisan breads and cheeses, and so much more! We can’t wait to see you. 👋 In the throes of a heat wave, there’s only one thing to do:Make tacos!! We love grass fed goat or pasture raised veal for maximum flavor and protein, but you can’t go wrong with free range chicken either! Maybe a taco party this weekend with all three is in order… 🌮❤️😎 Best day of the week is here again! We can’t tell you how much your support of your local ranchers and farmers means to us. And it’s such a joy to see your faces week after week! We’ll be here until 1pm today, come say hi! 🙋🙋♀️🙋♂️ Pasture raised veal chops work soooo well on the grill, and friends— I think it’s safe to say that grilling season is HERE! Pick yours up at the farmers market this Sunday! ♥️ Happy cows in the grass!! Did you know we never separate mamas from babes? We think a life spent out in the grass together is the most humane and sustainable way to produce our pasture raised veal. 🌱💚🌞 10133 Valley Ranch Road Petaluma, California Copyright © 2017-2026 Rossotti Ranch·
