Truman Hill Farm produces 100% grassfed and grass finished premium local beef in Franklin County, Virginia. Our pastures are rotationally grazed and maintained without any herbicides or non-organic inputs. Raised with no grain, artificial hormones, or antibiotics, our cattle are humanely handled in a clean, low-stress environment. The minimal outside inputs we use, such a Thorvin organic kelp from Nordic waters and Redmond salt mined from ancient sea beds, are naturally sourced and enhance the health of our herd. All of our beef is dry aged and locally processed for your clean, nutritious, and delicious meals. This farm has been in our family since the 1800s, changing over generations from tobacco production to orchards and brandy distilling to timber and cattle. We've been marketing our grass-fed beef since 2009 with a strong conservation focus. Our land is protected by a permanent conservation easement, and we have clean water protection practices in place such as fencing to keep the herd out of Gills Creek that flows through our farm. We host Save Our Streams volunteers to monitor water quality and have won awards for our sustainable timber management. Truman Hill Farm is committed to producing premium beef while being careful stewards of the land that was entrusted to us.
