Delivery & Pickup Options

Understanding farm fulfillment options

How You Get Your Food

Each farm sets their own fulfillment options. Here's what to expect.

Farm Pickup

The most common option. You visit the farm at a scheduled time to collect your order. Farms typically have designated pickup windows — check the farm's profile for their hours and any special instructions.

Tips for farm pickup:

  • Bring a cooler for dairy, meat, and eggs
  • Arrive during the pickup window — farms are busy
  • Follow any posted directions for where to park and collect orders

Local Delivery

Some farms deliver within a certain radius. On the farm's profile, you'll see their delivery area and any minimum order requirements. Delivery days and times are set by each farm.

Farmers Market Pickup

Some farmers let you order online and pick up at their market booth. This is great if the farm is far from you but attends a market in your area. Check the farm's profile for which markets they attend.

Drop Sites

A few farms use community drop sites — central locations (like a church parking lot or community center) where they bring orders for pickup. The farm will share the drop site address and time when you order.

What About Shipping?

Most small farms don't ship. Bhumi is focused on local food — the farms near you. If a farm offers shipping, it will be noted on their profile.
