Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Bhumi platform at bhumifarms.co (the "Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Bhumi is a marketplace that connects consumers with local farms. We provide a platform for discovering farms, browsing products, and placing orders. Bhumi facilitates connections but is not itself a farm, food producer, or delivery service.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one account

4. For Consumers

• Product listings are provided by farms and may not always be current
• Prices, availability, and pickup/delivery options are set by individual farms
• Orders are between you and the farm — Bhumi facilitates but is not a party to the sale
• You are responsible for following any pickup or payment instructions provided by the farm

5. For Farmers

• You are responsible for the accuracy of your farm listing, product information, and pricing
• You must comply with all applicable local, state, and federal regulations for selling food products
• Bhumi may charge a commission on orders facilitated through the Platform
• You grant Bhumi a license to display your farm name, photos, and product information on the Platform

6. Payments

Payments are processed through Stripe. By making a purchase, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. Refund and cancellation policies are determined by individual farms unless otherwise stated.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Platform content without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity

8. Content and Suggestions

When you submit suggestions, reviews, or other content, you grant Bhumi a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content to improve the Platform. We may edit or remove content that violates these terms or is inaccurate.

9. Intellectual Property

The Bhumi name, logo, and Platform design are our property. Farm content (names, descriptions, photos) belongs to the respective farms. You may not use our branding without written permission.

10. Disclaimers

• The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee the accuracy of farm listings or product availability
• We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of products sold by farms
• We do not endorse any particular farm or product

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bhumi shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
